TECTONIC TWITCH is an interpretative narrative music project centered around dark caricatures and storytelling.

This project contains AI elements, and as such, should be labeled appropriately for transparency. Songs under this project are written by a human (the structure, lyrics, and direction). The "who"

TECTONIC TWITCH was created by Anthony Santiago, a guitar player, composer, and electronic music producer.

The "why"

Music is a powerful tool for expressing ideas, stories, and emotions. I find that creating this type of music is therapeutic for me.

The Euphoria Process

Named after the process used to create EUPHORIA, most songs under the TECTONIC TWITCH project use this method.

1. Lyrics

Lyrics are written first - often directly in a plain notes app.

2. Electric Guitar and Tux Guitar

Based on the lyrics and desired tone, melodies, rhythms, and bass lines are written on guitar, then put into a Tux Guitar tab along with percussion.

3. Assembly with Suno

Suno is used to assemble the song, including vocals and converting the Tux Guitar tab into usable audio. This section usually requires a lot of editing and creative decisions to land at the desired track.

4. Mixing and Mastering in Reaper

Reaper is used to mix and master the music. If stems are usable, stems may be used, including for mixing, overdubbing, and effects (like vocal octaves)

Common techniques include parallel compression and processing.
